René is a passionate bird guide with over 20 years of birding experience and three years of professional guiding. Growing up in the Lowveld of Mpumalanga and Gauteng, her early exposure to the Kruger National Park fostered a deep love for birds and wildlife.
René knows Kruger National Park intimately, having travelled extensively throughout the area, and regularly leads both day trips and overnight tours within the park and to other regions of South Africa. In addition to guiding, she has a keen interest in wildlife and bird photography, and when not in the field, she contributes content writing for Nature Travel.
