Máté is an experienced birder and bird bander. He graduated as an environmental scientist and fishery engineer and holds a PhD in animal husbandry sciences. His interest in nature began in early childhood. While his main focus has always been in birds, he is also interested in bats, reptiles, butterflies, dragonflies, and orchids.
Máté has travelled widely across Europe and has also gained field experience in Africa, South America, and even Antarctica. He has participated in numerous conservation projects, field studies, and environmental education programs. Passionate about exploring our natural heritage, he is dedicated to sharing that enthusiasm and knowledge with others.
