Adam Tamas - Bird Guide

Ádám has been passionate about birding since the age of 14. He graduated in 2011 with a degree in Nature Conservation Engineering from the University of West Hungary in Sopron. For his thesis, he analyzed a decade-long waterbird census conducted along the lower reaches of the Danube River.

Currently, Ádám works as a ranger in the southern part of Kiskunság National Park, near his hometown of Baja. He served as a member of the Hungarian Rarities Committee for 10 years and has discovered several rare bird species in his region, including the Spanish Sparrow, Steppe Eagle, and Yellow-billed Diver, among many others.

Deeply committed to environmental education, Ádám actively participates in school programs focused on local wildlife and conservation. Known for his kindness and helpful nature, he especially enjoys introducing international visitors to Hungary's birds and their natural habitats.
