Rick loves birds. He shares the JOY of birds through guiding tours and his popular social media accounts. Rick is a world traveller having visited six continents and 45 countries (and counting). Most recently he has traveled and birded his way through Belize, Peru, Fiji, Ireland, France, Ecuador & Guatemala.
When not traveling or chasing down rare birds, you can find Rick volunteering at Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory near his home in Southern Ontario. Rick’s favourite season is Fall because it allows him to help band and monitor 1,000’s of migratory songbirds by day and Northern Saw-whet owls by night.
