Renee Franken grew up hiking and skiing in the Rocky Mountains, where she developed her love of nature and the outdoors. She received her Master of Science degree from University of Alberta, after spending three summers living in the Yukon alpine studying pikas. She has worked on a number of wildlife projects studying everything from frogs to badgers. She loves travel and experiencing new places and has a special interest in the Canadian arctic. As a co-owner, she is intimately involved in the operations of Eagle-Eye Tours, including tour planning, leading, and product development. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her three children, hiking, trail running, skiing, and summers at the lake.
