Louis Masarei is a passionate zoologist who focuses on terrestrial vertebrate fauna, particularly birdlife. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology and Marine and Coastal Management from the University of Western Australia. His deep knowledge of the region is evident in his observation of over 460 bird species in Western Australia.
Louis has led surveys and monitoring programs across Australia. His knowledge also spans pelagic and marine-associated birdlife, arid Australian mammals, reptiles, invertebrates, and marine life. He has also guided various bird and wildlife tours in Australia and Southeast Asia.
