In her quest for outstanding images, Lee has skied, hiked, canoed, backpacked, and travelled by dog team, horseback, snowmobile, helicopter, hot air balloon, and icebreakers. She has worked on more than fifteen ship-based expeditions to the high Arctic, Iceland, Greenland, and Antarctica—and has taught photography all over the world. Lee is fascinated with the diversity and beauty of the Arctic and documents its dramatic scenery, wildlife, and evolving Inuit culture.
