Dennis Minty has traveled extensively to many parts of the world and professional photography has taken him through more than thirty years of both local and international work as an award-winning wildlife biologist and environmental educator; author of both educational and photographic books and CD-ROMs; multimedia developer and eco-tour guide. His work can be found in public and private collections around the world. Of Newfoundland he says, "It is my home. It roots me. After half a lifetime of shooting, I am still overwhelmed by its visual richness." For him, nature and photography are inseparable. Dennis immerses himself in nature through photography. He feels that outstanding photography communicates through the eye to the heart and brings new awareness, respect, and awe for our amazing world. His primary and constant goal is to celebrate the Earth with images.
