Colin
Jones
has been birding
since he was a boy and has been leading tours for Eagle-Eye Tours since
1997. He takes great pleasure in sharing his
love for nature with others. Spanning a time period of 10 years he worked
in Algonquin Park where he designed and presented a variety of programs
on all areas of natural and human history. Colin has also conducted numerous
biological inventories and performed bird banding at the Thunder Cape
Bird Observatory in Ontario. Colin is interested and knowledgeable in
most
areas of natural history including mammals, reptiles and amphibians,
insects (particularly butterflies and dragonflies), plants, fungi,
and, of course, birds. He currently works on rare species in Ontario
where
he is involved
in a variety of inventory and monitoring projects. Colin has birded much
of Eastern North America and the Caribbean, as well as parts of Central
America and East Africa. He lives in Ontario with his wife and their
two children.
