Chris
obtained a PhD on African sunbirds, has taught
university zoology, and did a 2.5 year postdoctoral research stint
on hummingbirds at the University of Wyoming. He is a Theta-accredited
tour guide and for the last three years has been kept very busy guiding
a host of exciting birding tours in South Africa and other African
nations. Chris resides in Cape Town, South Africa. He has also visited
South America in 2002 where he spent time in the peruvian and guayanan
rainforest.
